Complaint filed against Boulder City Clerk

Boulder City Clerk Pam Malmstrom had no comment this afternoon following the filing of a criminal complaint earlier today accusing her of not following state law regarding the formation of ballot question committees for the Boulder City Hospital District arguments.

Joe Roche, who was one of two committee members opposing the tax district question, claims she failed to take the names of potential committee members to the City Council as a county-approved resolution directed her to do and instead named members to the committees herself, which is not permitted under NRS 295.

The Boulder City Police Department took Roche's complaint and filed it with District Attorney David Roger's office.
