Confrontation nets one death, injury

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- A Tuesday shootout in Kingman, Ariz. killed one man and wounded another.

Police Capt. Scott Wright said Alan Prince, 42, went to a residence in the 500 block of Wilshire Avenue to confront Blake Bloomberg, 20, about an alleged debt. Gunfire that occurred inside and outside the home was reported to police at 4:54 p.m.

Prince and Bloomberg both were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center before they were airlifted to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

Wright said that Prince was dead on arrival and that Bloomberg was listed in stable condition.

He said the shooting investigation was continuing.
