A 28-year-old man who died after being shot earlier this week near Twain Avenue and Swenson Street was identified Tuesday by the Clark County coroner's office as 28-year-old Atsku Tekle.
Police reported finding Tekle and two other unidentified victims lying on the ground with gunshot wounds about 5:55 p.m. Sunday. The shooting victims were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where Tekle died.
The coroner's office did not release Tekle's city of residence.
Police said Tekle and two others were crossing a street when they were approached by a Hispanic male described as between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black Oakland Raiders hooded sweat shirt and appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 30, police said.
