■ A story in Thursday's edition should have noted that the graduation rate at the University of Nevada, Reno has climbed to 53 percent.

■ A story Thursday incorrectly described North Las Vegas Mayor Shari Buck. Buck is the city's first elected female mayor, but Dorothy Porter was appointed mayor in 1954. Also, the story should have said the filing period for candidates in the April 2 municipal election is Jan. 22 through Feb. 1.
