Corrections

A story in Friday's Business section contained an error. The Stratosphere is offering local residents free elevator rides to the top of the observation tower between 7 and 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays. In addition, locals are supposed to buy a refills-allowed margarita for $25, but this is now done on the honor system.

Known as Reba’s Law in honor of an English bulldog that died after being taped into a plastic bin, the bill stiffens animal cruelty penalties and sets guidance for how a bystander can intervene if they see an animal locked in a car during extreme weather.
