■ A front-page article Monday incorrectly described state Sen. Kelvin Atkinson's involvement in reporting alleged threats against Assembly Speaker Marilyn Kirkpatrick.

Atkinson said Monday that he never told Kirkpatrick that Assemblyman Steven Brooks had directly threatened her.

Additionally, Atkinson was not interviewed Sunday by the Review-Journal. Comments attributed to him on a political blog were inadvertently added to the newspaper article without proper attribution.

■ A story Monday about retired Las Vegas police Assistant Sheriff Ray Flynn incorrectly stated that he fatally shot a man Feb. 10, 1982. The suspect Flynn shot did not die from his gunshot wound.

■ Steve Sebelius' column Sunday incorrectly identified state Sen. Mo Denis, D-Las Vegas, as minority leader. He is the state Senate's majority leader.
