CORRECTIONS

A story in Monday's Review-Journal contained errors. The story reversed the numbers for the Review-Journal/8NewsNow poll's findings on local support for legalizing marijuana and prostitution to boost tourism. On the pot question, 79 percent of respondents opposed Dutch-style hashish and marijuana bars in Las Vegas, while 64 percent opposed legalizing brothels in Clark County. The numbers in the accompanying graphic were correct.

A story in Monday's Nevada section about gubernatorial candidate Eugene "Gino" DiSimone, who is running as an independent, should have said the decision on whether independent or third-party candidates are mentioned by name in polls is made by the Review-Journal editor and the polling company hired by the newspaper.
