• Southbound U.S. Highway 95 HOV lanes are not scheduled to open until Nov. 26. The wrong date was reported in Friday's Review-Journal.

• A story in the Business section of Friday's paper misspelled the name of the president and chief executive officer of the Nevada Development Authority. The correct spelling is Somer Hollingsworth.

• A headline in Friday's Neon was incorrect. Avril Lavigne will be playing The Pearl at the Palms on April 29.

• Leslie Rosenberger was misidentified in a Gift of Lights photo caption in Tuesday's paper.

• A story in the Nov. 8 paper erroneously reported that the National Newspaper Association favored loosening Federal Communications Commission rules on cross-ownership of newspaper and broadcast properties.That group takes no position. A separate organization, the Newspaper Association of America, favors loosening rules on cross-ownership.
