In a report Wednesday about a study of post-traumatic stress disorder among veterans, The Associated Press misidentified Nancy Andreasen. She is a professor in the Psychiatry Department at Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa, but not the departmental chairwoman.
A report Wednesday on disposal of prescription drugs should have clarified that failure to properly discard excess medications has contributed to a 40 percent increase in prescription drug abuse among teens since 2002, according to the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
