• A Stephens Washington Bureau report Wednesday mischaracterized consultant Ed Cotton's offer regarding Clark County's child welfare system. At a congressional hearing, Cotton said he offered to release the results of his audit of the Clark County Department of Family Services jointly with the county and to develop a plan to explain it to the public.

• Bruno W. Busch did not hit the utility pole with his scooter as reported in Jane Ann Morrison's Monday column. While trying to get around the pole, his back wheel went off the curb.
