Cottonwood Cove facilities remain closed at Lake Mohave

Facilities at Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mohave will remain closed today but could open by midweek, a National Park Service spokeswoman said.

Roxanne Dey said a roadblock has been set up on the access road to Cottonwood Cove, just east of Searchlight, as crews finish disinfecting and testing a repaired water well system. The system broke down Monday.

Officials closed a trailer village, an RV park, a store, a cafe and a marina while the work is being done.
