Court offers free classes on e-filing

Las Vegas Justice Court officials are taking reservations for two free one-hour e-filing training sessions scheduled in coming weeks.

The teaching sessions for legal professionals to learn how to file civil documents online will be offered Jan. 12 and March 15 in the jury assembly room at the Clark County Regional Justice Center in downtown Las Vegas.

Sessions are limited to 50 participants.

Justice Court Chief Judge Karen Bennett-Haron calls e-filing a user-friendly, cost-effective and secure way to electronically submit documents, and says it improves court efficiency.

Participants should email their name, address and their law firm or company affiliation to berna@clarkcountycourts.us, along with the date they want to attend.
