Crunch time for Christmas shoppers

Procrastinators must be loving it right about now. Christmas is just four days away and the deals keep flowing in and spreading with a little help from cyberspace friends.

My inbox had at least a half-dozen offers for free expedited shipping from merchants vying for the last of my holiday spending budget. I also got reminders from some merchants, including Sears, about their Web-to-store offers, which let you order items online and pick them up in a store. This is something I took advantage of on Cyber Monday three weeks ago. See the deals for yourself at Sears.com and remember to schedule item pick up at the right store.

Other spots to watch include Amazon.com and CheapCheapCheap.com, where deals of the day abound. Most merchants are still guaranteeing delivery before Friday for most items.

One of the hottest bargains today is an mp3 download of Pink Floyd's ìDark Side of the Moonî album for only $1.99 at Amazon.com:

(Yes, irony of ironies, this album includes the song “Money,“ with the lines “Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash” and “But if you ask for a rise, it's no surprise that they're giving none away.” At this price, it seems they’re certainly giving songs away.)

Don't forget to use the Twitter.com hashtag searches of #deals, #coupons and #CyberMonday, as the Twitteratti continue to find smoking deals. For those of you in Las Vegas, I highly recommend you follow @lollieshopping, as she continues to tweet sweet deals for both online and offline shopping. Don't forget to enter the caption contest at Lingerie.com, which@lollieshopping features here: http://www.lollieshopping.com/6645150. The winner will get a free item, valued up to $75. Nice! (Or is it naughty?)
