Eight-car accident causes delays in Lake Mead-Nellis area
An eight-car accident at the intersection of Lake Mead and Nellis boulevards will cause delays until at least 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Las Vegas police said.
The accident happened about 8:30 a.m.
Westbound Lake Mead and northbound Nellis were closed at the intersection, and police asked that the area be avoided.
Officer Barb Morgan said three people were transported to University Medical Center. The injuries were not life threatening, she said.
