Election officials taking registration forms at four area malls on Saturday

The Clark County Election Department is holding voter registration drives at four area malls from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, which is also the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 2 general election without appearing in person at a department office.

Election officials will accept voter registration forms at:

■ Las Vegas Outlet Center, 7400 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

■ Boulevard Mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway.

■ Galleria at Sunset Mall, 1300 W. Sunset Road.

■ Meadows mall, 4300 Meadows Lane.

Residents also can go to the county election center, 965 Trade Drive, Suite A, North Las Vegas; and the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. Hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Residents with a Nevada driver's license or DMV-issued ID can register online through Saturday .

After Saturday, people who wish to register to vote must do so in person at one of the two Election Department offices.

From Sunday through Oct. 12, both offices will be open for extended hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday through Tuesday.
