Estranged husband kills man, self
A divorce situation led to a murder-suicide Thursday night in a southeast valley home when an estranged husband shot his wife and one of her family members before turning the gun on himself, police said.
The wife's family member, who was in his 60s, died at the scene, 4719 Del Sueno Drive, near Hacienda Avenue and Mountain Vista Street.
The suspect, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. The woman, in her late 30s, was being treated for gunshot wounds and was expected to recover, police said.
