Evacuation order lifted at Miller Elementary School

Miller Elementary School is back in session after being evacuated this morning when school officials smelled a strong odor of natural gas.

Students and faculty were brought of the school around 9 a.m. for about an hour and a half while firefighters investigated.

Clark County Fire Department spokesman Scott Allison said the firefighters think its origin might be outside the school, 4851 E. Lake Mead Blvd., near Nellis Boulevard.
