Ex-Primm Valley Resorts exec to run Laughlin casino

A former Primm Valley Resorts executive will take over a major Laughlin casino.

American Casino & Entertainment on Wednesday announced it had hired Paul Hobson to be general manager of the Aquarius Casino Resort.

Hobson will be in charge of day-to-day operations, and planning and development at Aquarius. He will report to American CEO Frank Riolo.

Prior to working for Aquarius, Hobson was senior vice president for operations at Primm Valley resorts, which entailed overseeing operations at three casinos in Primm, near the California border.

Hobson also has worked at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and Caesars Tahoe in Lake Tahoe.
