Examiners revoke doctor’s license
The Nevada Board of Medical Examiners on Tuesday revoked the license of a doctor who faces conspiracy, money laundering, administering narcotic drugs and other charges in Arizona.
Dr. Yun Szu Yeh, 44, was also ordered to not reapply for licensure in Nevada and to pay $2,000 in costs.
The board's actions against Yeh arose after he, along with 54-year-old Brian Espinoza of Henderson, was indicted.
The government contends that Yeh used the pain management clinic he formerly operated in Golden Valley, Ariz., to illegally distribute prescription drugs. The Drug Enforcement Administration said Yeh skipped routine protocols in writing prescriptions for patients.
Yeh also operated a pain management clinic in Las Vegas, where Espinosa served as his physician's assistant.
Yeh pleaded not guilty in Mohave County Superior Court in August.
