Fatal crash caused by man driving wrong way on Interstate 15

A 25-year-old Henderson man who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 15 caused a head on collision this morning that left him and another driver dead, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

Trooper Kevin Honea with the NHP said the man was driving north on Interstate15 southbound between St. Rose Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard when he collided with a pickup.

The accident occurred about 3:40 a.m. Both the 25-year-old and the pickup's driver were pronounced dead at the scene.
