Feds look to unload Crazy Horse Too at public sale

Out of apparent desperation, the U.S. government has settled on a fire sale for the Crazy Horse Too.

In court papers, federal prosecutors say a high-powered real estate company, hired by the U.S. Marshals Service, was unable to sell the shut-down Strip club in the tough real estate market.

So now, the Marshals Service plans to "sell the forfeited property by public sale or any other commercially feasible means," prosecutors write.

Rick Rizzolo, who lost the club to the government in 2007 following his plea deal on a criminal tax charge, has accused the government of squandering its value by failing to sell it in a timely fashion.

A couple of years ago, the Crazy Horse Too was worth as much as $35 million.

Today, the government will be lucky to get a few million dollars for it.
