Find your Social Security offices

There are three Social Security district offices and one Social Security Card Center that serve individuals living in the Southern Nevada area. The offices provide a comfortable environment and courteous service to the community they serve. The hours of operation for all offices are 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
Effective Nov. 19, the offices will close at 3 p.m.
The Las Vegas district office is at 1250 S. Buffalo Drive, Suite 150. There are 59 employees providing services to the city of Las Vegas metropolitan area, most of Clark County, as well as Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda counties.
The office averages 375 to 425 visitors per day.
The Las Vegas Social Security Card Center is located with the Las Vegas district office. The Card Center, which has 18 employees, is the only facility that handles Social Security number work to residents in all of Clark County. It also serves Esmeralda, Lincoln and Nye counties. All new and duplicate card requests require a face-to-face visit to this office.
Las Vegas was selected for a card center operation because of its fast-growing population and large Social Security number workloads. The office averages about 430 visitors daily.
The North Las Vegas district office is at 4340 Simmons St. It moved to its new location because the previous location was no longer large enough to serve the public comfortably.
There are 37 employees providing services to the city of North Las Vegas, Mesquite, Overton and surrounding communities, including Nellis and Creech Air Force bases. In addition, the office serves areas to the north, Pioche and Panaca. The office averages about 275 visitors on a daily basis.
The Henderson district office is at 10416 S. Eastern Ave. As a result of the tremendous growth in the Henderson area, the office opened its doors to the public in May 2006. The office has a staff of 30 employees that provide services to Henderson, Boulder City, Cottonwood Cove, Nelson, Willow Beach and Searchlight.
The office receives on average 225 visitors daily.
In Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln and Nye counties, almost 300,000 individuals receive a Social Security benefit.
Social Security in Clark County and surrounding counties make up a significant part of the local economy. Residents served by the three Social Security offices in Southern Nevada collect almost $4.5 billion every year.
