Fire at Henderson home causes $25,000 damage

A fire Sunday morning caused an estimated $25,000 in damage to a Henderson family’s home on Pioneers Peak Avenue, in the Paradise Hills area.

Firefighters responded about 10 a.m. and quickly contained the fire on the second story of the large family home.

There were no injuries to the family, pets or firefighters. Smoke detectors alerted the family, who quickly used 911 for emergency assistance.

The cause of the fire was ruled accidental, but the incident is still under investigation.
