Fire causes $400,000 in damage to Henderson home

An attic fire at a Henderson home Tuesday caused $400,000 in damage and displaced a family.

The fire happened about 10:40 a.m. at 1531 Mustang Drive, near Appaloosa Road and Boulder Highway, according to the Henderson Fire Department.

The fire was under control in 45 minutes. The home was deemed a total loss. There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire was determined to be from roofing repairs, officials said.
