From NPR news …

The National Public Radio Web site (npr.org) has a new design, and I encourage you to visit. There's more white space and better organization. The top of the home page now sports larger tabs to the major sections: news, arts and life, music, and programs. There are lighter tabs leading to listen, hourly news and podcasts.
The rest of the page features many stories of the day in both text and audio formats. Photography plays a big role in the design, with images to accompany section lead-ins lower on the home page. The bottom of the page has a site map, making it easy to jump directly to deeper parts of the site. There’s also some fun: a game posted there today lets you hear an audio clip of an NPR personality and then try to match the speaker’s name to his or her picture.
The site matches the first-rate quality of the journalism done by NPR. Well done.
