Gambler’s Book Club on the move again

Las Vegas institution Gambler’s Book Club is moving for the second time within a year.

The book shop with literature about all areas related to the casino industry is moving to 5473 South Eastern just north of Russell Road, the store announced through an e-mail Friday afternoon.

The store, which carries 3,000 titles, will open Monday and keep its current weekly hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The store is closed on weekends.

The shop had moved to its current location at East Tropicana Avenue and Spencer Street next to the Pinball Hall of Fame in June after 45 years on South 11th Street just north of Charleston Boulevard.

The store’s titles include a wide range of subjects for casual players seeking basic playing strategies to books on casino operations costing more than $100.

The store’s owner on Friday declined to comment on the reason for the move.
