GORDON’S LAYUP LIFTS 76ERS OVER RAPTORS

Philadelphia's Jamont Gordon parlayed a beautiful dribble-drive into a game-winning reverse layup with .6 seconds left in the 76ers' 87-85 win over Toronto.

After the Raptors' Jaycee Carroll was called for an offensive foul after hitting a would-be, go-ahead shot with 4.4 seconds to play, Gordon got the ball near midcourt and drove for the winning layup.

Philadelphia's Thaddeus Young led all scorers with 21 points, and former Colorado State center Jason Smith had a big game for the 76ers with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

HE'S, LIKE, A DREAMBOAT

Jason Smith's Wikipedia entry was apparently written by a 14-year-old girl. Or one very, very disturbed fan.

Among the entries under "Career highlights"...

* "He is the only cute player on the 76er's team."

* "He has 3 kids with wife, Miley Cyrus. Their names are Bob, Jim, and Cal."

* "PSD people are kind of lame...Except Buckwheat. He seckzy."

* "He is a tall white man."

* "He is my mancrush."

* "I want him."

HEY, YOU LOOK FAMILIAR

If Toronto's Joey Graham and John Lucas show a bit of chemistry on the court, don't be surprised.

The two played college basketball for Oklahoma State, leading the Cowboys to the Final Four in 2004 alongside Big 12 player of the year Tony Allen.

Lucas, son of former NBA head coach John Lucas, has played alongside some heavy hitters in his career. In high school, Lucas played with current Charlotte Bobcats center Emeka Okafor.

Graham, meanwhile, might have had the highlight of the day. Late in the fourth quarter, he drove baseline against two 76ers and punished the basket with an authoritative reverse dunk.
