H1N1 virus gets a mascot
What's a pandemic without a mascot? The swine flu outbreak -- officially known as the H1N1 virus -- has led to "Achufy," a stuffed animal to help folks remember the outbreak.
WQAD.com in the Quad Cities on the Illinois - Iowa border, reported that a businessman in Mexico came up with the idea for "Achufy" as "A souvenir of the 2009 Epidemic that united Mexico. You can use the stuffed animal to tell your grandchildren of this unique experience in history."
They sell for around $30 U.S., or 450 pesos.
