H1N1 virus kills two more Clark County residents

Two more Clark County residents died during the past week from the H1N1 virus, a Southern Nevada Health District spokeswoman said today.

Jennifer Sizemore said a 35-year-old woman with no underlying medical conditions died Friday, and a 73-year-old man with underlying medical conditions died Monday.

"Both of them were hospitalized," the spokeswoman said. Southern Nevada has had a total of six deaths from the so-called swine flu. That total includes a 70-year-old New York woman who died while visiting Clark County. Sizemore said she already was ill when she arrived in Nevada.
