HEATHER MURREN HONORED

Heather Murren, co-founder of the Nevada Cancer Institute, was honored at the eighth "Rock for the Cure" fundraiser for the NVCI Thursday at The Mirage. The event has raised more than $20 million for the cancer center, which now has 300 employees and 7,000 patients. Jay Leno and Terry Fator entertained and CNN's Larry King emceed the event.
