Henderson campus expands
The Dr. Miriam & Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus is adding second grade to its Henderson campus beginning this fall. The Henderson campus is on the Midbar Kodesh Temple premises in the newly opened David L. Simon Wing at 1940 Paseo Verde Parkway. It already houses kindergarten and first grade.
The Henderson campus classrooms follow the same curriculum as the Summerlin campus, 9700 W. Hillpointe Road, and participate in the same activities and field trips as the Summerlin classes . They also have specialists that come in weekly to provide instruction in Hebrew, Judaics, art, music and physical education.
For those who have older siblings or want the larger campus experience, Adelson Educational Campus also provides bus service from Henderson to Summerlin for students in preschool through 12th grade.
Adelson Educational Campus was founded in 1980 and now educates children from 18 months through 12th grade and accepts students of all faiths and affiliations . For more information, call 255-4500 .
