Here comes the judge (candidates)

Nearly have of the candidates that seek a challenged judgeship in Clark County took the time to provide Las Vegas Legal News, a Las Vegas Review-Journal Web site, with a candidate profile that includes answers to a list of questions we asked. In most cases they were kind enough to send biographies and a photograph to help you put a face to the name.

One would have thought the response would have been better.

Be that as it may, voters now have the opportunity to better understand the qualifications of 27 candidates running for a wide variety of judicial departments, from one of the new civil judgeships created in the last election to the many justice of the peace races. Sandwiched in between are several Family division races that look intriguing.

The only downer? You'll have to scroll down to a second page to read them all, which we encourage you to do. After all, an informed voter is an intelligent voter.

Please log on to Las Vegas Legal News and read all about it.
