High court rejects killer’s appeal that judge was biased

CARSON CITY -- The Nevada Supreme Court has rejected an appeal from a man who won a new trial after a Las Vegas murder conviction, only to be convicted again and sentenced to two no-parole life terms in prison.

Bellon argued that Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass, who presided over his first and second trials, was biased against him.
