LV VALLEY KARAOKE BAR SLAYING

Third, fourth suspects held in fatal stabbing

Las Vegas police last week arrested two more people in connection with a fatal stabbing at a southwest valley karaoke bar in July.

Jacky J. Wang, 27, and Lu "Sophia" Li, 25, were arrested Thursday and are both facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder and burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon.

They are accused of being involved in the fatal stabbing of 45-year-old Jun Li at the Forbes KTV bar at 3400 S. Jones Blvd., near Desert Inn Road.

Wang and Lu Li were roommates with Xiao Ye Bai, 22, and Pei Pei, 23, who also have been charged with murder with a deadly weapon.

According to the arrest reports for Wang and Lu Li, the couple walked into a police station on Sept. 9. Wang told police that the victim owed Bai and Pei money.

He told police that Lu Li was at the bar the night of Jun Li's death, and Wang relayed the information to Bai, according to the report.

Pei told police that Bai went into the bar before the stabbing and ran out moments later, according to Bai's arrest report. The statement corroborated that of a witness.

The second of two brothers from Mexico who drowned at Lake Mohave earlier this month was identified by the Clark County coroner's office Tuesday as 29-year-old Eduardo Zamora-Sanchez.

Zamora-Sanchez drowned with Jose Zamora-Sanchez, 32, about 8:45 p.m. on Sept. 1, according to the National Park Service.

Jose Zamora-Sanchez's body was found floating in Six Mile Cove. His brother's body was found about two hours later, the park service said.

The brothers were last seen swimming from the shore near the cove. Park service officials said they weren't wearing life jackets.

SOUTHEAST LAS VEGAS VALLEY

Woman shot to death in home identified

The woman found dead at a southeast valley home Monday afternoon in what police suspect was a murder-suicide involving her boyfriend was identified Tuesday by the Clark County coroner's office as 29-year-old Sarah Wayson of Las Vegas.

The coroner's office hadn't determined a cause and manner of death for Wayson and hadn't identified her boyfriend as of Tuesday afternoon.

Police said a housekeeper alerted them about 1 p.m. to the bodies in the home at 1292 Sun Village Ave., near Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.

Homicide Sgt. William Scott said they were shot to death. He said police found Wayson's body downstairs on a couch. Her boyfriend's body was found upstairs.

Scott speculated the shootings occurred either Friday or Saturday.
