LIVE ORAL ARGUMENTS
State Supreme Court to broadcast on Web
The state Supreme Court announced Wednesday that it will begin broadcasting over the Internet all oral-argument appeals hearings.
"Webcasting of oral arguments will bring the Supreme Court closer to the people of Nevada," Chief Justice Jim Hardesty said.
The live video feeds will be found on the court's Web site: www.nvsupremecourt.us. Webcasts will begin with the hearings tentatively scheduled for March 2-3.
Hardesty said few Nevadans can attend Supreme Court hearings in person, and the live webcasts will allow everyone with Internet access to view court hearings.
