Infant had abuse signs, Henderson police say
A 20-year-old Henderson man was arrested early Monday in connection with the death of a male infant who Henderson police said showed signs of abuse.
Rayshaun T. Coleman, who was dating the 6-week-old baby's mother, was arrested early Monday and charged with murder. The Clark County coroner's office identified the boy as Tristin Michaels Hilburn. The mother is listed as Christal Hilburn-Gaynor.
Police were called to the home at 1941 Dunnam St., near Pabco and Sunset roads, shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday. The infant was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was declared dead. The cause of death has not been determined.

Coroner's office rules inmate's death suicide
A 55-year-old inmate at the Clark County Detention Center killed himself Friday, Las Vegas police said.
The Clark County coroner's office ruled the death a suicide and identified the man as Michael Cavalieri of Las Vegas. He died of asphyxia from hanging, officials said.
According to detention center booking logs, Cavalieri was arrested Feb. 21 on several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon.

Phoenix man falls nearly 300 feet, dies
A Phoenix man died during a mountain climbing excursion Saturday in northwest Arizona.
Scott Robert Olsen, 20, his girlfriend and three other Phoenix-area residents were hiking and mountain climbing near Kaiser Springs, about 10 miles outside Wikieup, when he fell about 300 feet to his death, Mohave County sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter said.
