Seattle man killed in fall from hotel tower
A Seattle man died early Thursday after falling from an eighth-floor balcony window at Circus Circus, Las Vegas police said.
The Clark County coroner's office identified him as Jeffrey F. Kamota, 21.
Friends of Kamota told officers he was leaning out of the window to smoke and fell around 4:35 a.m., Lt. Craig Clatt said.
The man's identity was not released. Clatt said his death is considered accidental and that alcohol might have been a factor.

Man killed crossing street was from LV
The 32-year-old man who was struck and killed by a pickup while trying to run across East Sahara Avenue Monday night was identified as Marcus Harris by the Clark County coroner's office.
The Las Vegas man's death was ruled an accident.
The accident happened at 7:32 p.m., west of 17th Street. Driver Cesar Reyes, 49, of Las Vegas, attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid hitting Harris.
He died at the scene, police said.
37-YEAR-OLD HENDERSON MAN
Motorcyclist in fatal accident identified
A Henderson man who died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 last month was identified Thursday by the Clark County coroner's office as 37-year-old Nathan Cole Lopez.
The accident occurred on Jan. 31 as Lopez was exiting the northbound interstate for eastbound St. Rose Parkway.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, witnesses said Lopez was driving at a high rate of speed. His motorcycle left the offramp and hit a gravel area. Lopez hit a signpost and was thrown from the motorcycle into the westbound lanes of St. Rose Parkway.
He died at the scene.
Authorities said Lopez was wearing a helmet during the crash.
