GIRL TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

Police find boy, 4, dead in car on dirt road

North Las Vegas police found a 4-year-old boy dead in a car Tuesday morning on a dirt road north of Losee Road and Interstate 215.

North Las Vegas police were called out at 9 a.m. to the scene where a 21-year-old Las Vegas man had been driving. The name of the man and the child were withheld Tuesday.

Initial reports were that the driver lost control of the vehicle on the dirt road. A 3-year-old girl also was found in the vehicle. She was taken to University Medical Center and was listed in good condition.

Police said they are looking into the possibility that the boy might have been injured before the crash.
