Inmate dies in Northern Nevada

A male inmate convicted of second-degree murder in 2008 died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City on Wednesday.

Michael Johnson, 55, was in the Regional Medical Facility for the Nevada Department of Corrections for a medical condition, according to a state press release.

He was serving a sentence of 10 years to life.
