Music star Jay-Z kicked off the New Year with a monster concert that last nearly two hours at the grand opening party of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Friday. Coldplay opened the concert at 11 p.m. with a 12-song set than passed the torch to Jay-Z, who was joined by Coldplay's Chris Martin, Kanye West, John Mayer and Beyonce, who joined her husband for "Forever Young" and Martin for an acoustic duet of her hit "Halo."
