A Las Vegas man convicted of stealing jewelry and selling was sentenced Monday to two years in prison.
Jeffrey Cochran, 47, pleaded guilty in July to two counts of possession and sale of stolen goods, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.
He was sentenced to two years in prison, three years of supervised release and ordered to pay a little over $300,000 in restitution.
Cochran stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in expensive jewelry from people at out-of-state golf courses between September 2010 and March 2012 and sold it at trade shows, jewelry stores and pawn shops in Las Vegas. He also stole merchandise in Las Vegas and sold it in other states.
He has until Feb. 25 to report to prison.
