Judge postpones hearing in Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones case

A judge cited plea negotiations and postponed an evidentiary hearing for suspended NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones in a Las Vegas strip club melee.
At least for now, Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Tony Abbatangelo has shelved plans for a preliminary hearing.
He set a Nov. 27 status check on talks between Jones' lawyers and a Clark County prosecutor.
The 24-year-old Tennessee Titans cornerback faces felony coercion charges for allegedly inciting a melee inside a strip club during NBA All-Star weekend in February.
Three people were wounded minutes later in a shooting outside the club. A shooter hasn't been identified, and no one has been charged in the gunfire.
Jones' bodyguard and a woman also face charges in the melee. None of them had to appear in court.
