Just what the doctor ordered

It's almost dinner time and you're running late. You pulled nothing from the freezer, the fridge is sorely depleted and there are rumbling tummies waiting at home. You're also out of ideas, and another pizza just won't do. What to do?

Click over to DrEats (www.dreats.com) for a database-driven site that features all carry-out and delivery eateries within a selected ZIP code. It helps to enter the address you're ordering to, as the database will better be able to tell if it's thumbs-up or thumbs-down on delivery service. I found it's also best to ask when you call to place your order, as I noticed some restaurants in my ZIP the site said would be a go for delivery, that actually aren't in their zone.

A press release about the site boasts nearly 200,000 listings and more than 20,000 actual menus in its nation-wide database.

Come'n get it!
