LAP 96: GREG BIFFLE IS YOUR RACE LEADER
At least with Johnson’s pit stop woes and falling back to 10th we should get some more passing.
Biffle takes lead from Harvick on lap 86. Jeff Gordon is third after only taking fuel on last stop to gain ground.
Regarding sell-out status ... if you’re watching on TV you can see some empty seats between turns 3 and 4. The lower unfilled seats are those the track offered as restricted viewing rows a couple days ago. Other empties could be those of folks who had bought tickets or received free ones and didn’t show up.
Still more pretty good crowd.
Now if we can just have some racing. ...
On lap 96, Stremme running 13th gets bumped and spins in turn 2. Yellow is out. The caution gives Earnhardt the “lucky dog” and he gets back onto lead lap.
After 95 laps: Biffle, Gordon, Harvick, Kurt, Johnson, Stewart.
Leaders and others pit under yellow.
