Las Vegas man dies in ATV crash

A Las Vegas man was killed Monday afternoon when he was ejected from an all-terrain vehicle near Logandale, Las Vegas police said.

Authorities found the 60-year-old rider at about 3:15 p.m. on a desert stretch of Logandale Trail System, an off-road vehicle attraction about 60 miles north of Las Vegas.

Crash investigators believe the 60-year-old rider lost control of the ATV and was ejected. The man, who has not been identified by Clark County coroner officials, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision and cause of death continue to be investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Accident Investigation Section.
