Las Vegas teen found shot to death in his car

An 18-year-old former Palo Verde High School student was found shot to death in his car in Desert Shores on Sunday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.

Cory Iascone of Las Vegas was discovered about 2:30 p.m. on Point Conception Drive just east of Rampart Boulevard, authorities said. They said Iascone had been shot in the head.

Iascone bounced around to several schools but mostly attended Palo Verde, according to the Clark County School District.

He withdrew from Palo Verde in December 2006, the school district officials stated.
