LV man killed jaywalking identified by coroner’s office

A 49-year-old Las Vegas man who died after he was hit by a car Thursday while jaywalking across Charleston Boulevard was identified Tuesday.
Barnaby Nolan of Las Vegas died from multiple blunt force trauma, according to the Clark County coroner's office.
Las Vegas police said the man was crossing at Pecos Road outside of a crosswalk and against the pedestrian traffic signal.
A 2006 Ford Mustang traveling east on Charleston struck the man in the center lane at 12:14 p.m., police said. Nolan was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.
The incident was the 39th fatal accident in the Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction this year.
