Man, 68, arrested and charged in robbery at Fallon bank

FALLON-- A 68-year-old Fallon man has been arrested and charged in a bank robbery there last week.

Fallon Police Chief Kevin Gehman said Donald A. Parcells is being held on state charges in the Churchill County jail in lieu of a $20,000 cash-only bond. But he said the suspect probably will be transferred to federal custody.

The FBI assisted in the investigation that resulted in the arrest of Parcells. He's accused of making off with an unspecified amount of money less than $3,000 after demanding money from a teller at the U.S. Bank at about 2:50 p.m. last Friday.
