A 77-year-old California man died Thursday night after the car he was driving struck a block wall near Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard before hitting two other cars, police said.

The Clark County Coroner's office identified the man as John Lamon, 77, of Sacramento. He died of cardiac arrest at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

Lamon was driving west on Flamingo Road about 9:30 p.m. when his 2008 Lexus GS 350 struck the wall, veered north and struck a 2009 Dodge Caravan and then a 2006 Ford F-250.

The Ford F-250 also struck another vehicle.

No other injuries were reported.
