A man accused of stabbing a woman to death was arrested Wednesday, Las Vegas police said.

Jason Garcia, 40, was charged with murder and grand larceny in the Monday killing of 30-year-old Melissa Brink.

Brink died from multiple stab wounds, according to the Clark County coroner's office. Her city of residence was unknown.

Police said the woman was found dead about 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Budget Suites, 2219 N. Rancho Blvd., at Lake Mead Boulevard.

Details of the incident have not been released by police.
